Maria Moser was born in Upper Áustria in 1948. From 1968 to 1973 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts at Vienna. Since 1979 she arranged a lot of single and group shows at home and abroad. Moser was awarded many art prizes. She was married to the artist Heinz Göbel. The artist lives and works in Upper Austria. In particular, Maria Moser processes childhood memories in her art. Her father was blacksmith and the impressions of glowing iron pieces is mirrored in her compositions and coloring. The works are representative of life processes, they are existential. The color red and the glow can be considered as metaphors for inner transformations and psychological changes of humans.
