Eva Wagner was born in Salzburg in 1967. From 1986 to 1993 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts at Arnulf Rainer and Markus Prachensky. She taught at the International Summer Academy of Salzburg and at the Art College in Vienna. She went on several study tours to Paris, Italy, Dakar and Marrakech. She arranged a lot of single and group shows at home and abroad. Wagner was awarded many art prizes. The artist lives and works in Vienna. Eva Wagner has a preference for huge works in which the viewer is asked to think about the space and time. Her images are structured with monochrome sensitive colors. These figurative fragments in the abstracted, colored areas are scenes from everyday life.
